UNIX was built for me

Interesting Instagram reel from cusdeb_com. I always thought Steve Wozniak was the ultimate facilitator who built a computer he wanted to use, but maybe it was this guy, Ken Thompson.

UNIX began its life on a scavenged PDP-7 minicomputer, serving as a platform for the Space Travel game and a testbed for Ken Thompson’s ideas about operating system design. So, it could be said that Thompson created UNIX primarily for gaming purposes.
