The Office was a groundbreaking show that stylized a new type of comedy show, without laugh tracks, and with characters breaking the fourth wall by speaking to the camera. It was originally created by Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, but really made famous by the US remake by Greg Daniels. Partially due to the pandemic, it maintains the record of the most streamed TV show in US history.
