Spotify was the first app that made buying music listening, easier than pirating it. I mean, I did make small music purchases on iTunes and other platforms, but I would say that Spotify brought me back to paying for music like I did for CDs in the 1990s. I guess I would have viewed it like the Netflix of music conception (particularly back when it clicks was that really the only legal game in town). But I have to say that stories like the below make me skeptical. Even right now I'm on a three month trial or four dollars a month which I don't imagine I will renew after February.
