First Encounters with ChatGPT

Words escape me about how integral this tool has become to me. I can't imagine going to a world without ChatGPT, and I'm truly nervous about the NYT vs OpenAI lawsuit. Below is most of the stuff I wrote about a year ago:

ChatGPT is a free and paid artificial intelligence chatbot put out by OpenAI.

To use it, click the link below and if it's your first time, I recommend signing in with your Google or Microsoft account to make it easy. Your first time using it will require giving them your phone number to get a text message back. But after that signing in is quite seamless, if you are already logged into Google or Microsoft.

I've had mixed results with it, but I am very excited about it. Probably my disappointment is related to how high I set the bar. Here is that experience:

But this was incredible:

Here are some tweets about it with two examples of issues with it in Japanese:

Example Interactions with ChatGPT

Nik: What is "A Few Milliseconds Of 2073" about?

ChatGPT: I'm sorry, but I don't have any information about a song or piece of media called "A Few Milliseconds of 2073." Without more context or details, I'm unable to provide any information or analysis. Is there anything else I can help you with?

Nik: If I provide links, can you get information about it?

ChatGPT: As an artificial intelligence, I do not have the ability to browse the internet or access external information beyond what I was trained on. I can only provide information and analysis based on my preexisting knowledge. If you have a specific question or topic that you would like to know more about, I will do my best to help you using the knowledge and resources that I have been trained on. Please let me know if there is anything else I can assist you with.

I have seen in the news today, that they are coming up with audio support. But considering I am dictating this article, not typing it, and I use TTS all the time to listen to content with my ears rather than read with my eyes. I do not expect it to be a huge change for me.
