While Pixar’s method successfully creates films with universal appeal, I disagree with the idea that kids lack taste and shouldn’t be the main focus. Japanese filmmakers dedicate their children's movies entirely to young audiences. These films are specifically crafted to engage and educate children, complete with lessons on manners and values. They avoid aiming content at adults, such as weaving in hidden jokes or themes. This approach ensures that the films are genuinely kid-centric, providing pure and enjoyable experiences designed exclusively for children.
