Hooked: How to Build Habit-Forming Products is a 2014 book by Nir Eyal (with Ryan Hoover) on the psychology behind habit-forming products. It introduces the "Hook Model" — trigger, action, variable reward, investment — and the Manipulation matrix, an ethical test for makers of such products.
